You'll come with an idea, a project, a "something" you're wanting to bring into being. That something becomes the structure for the group, the concrete thread we follow to explore the process of creativity itself: how it moves, where it catches, what helps it flow. You'll have company for the joys and small celebrations along the way, and for the hard, slow, stuck parts too, in tandem with others walking their own something into being.
This group runs across the turn from fall into winter, autumn's harvest and release giving way to winter's stillness and quiet tending. We meet in community to sit with our own process, bear witness to one another, and remember that creativity is the ground from which all life grows, inseparable from who we are. A quiet power, the kind that comes from knowing yourself, holding yourself, and trusting your own flow.
We explore this through writing, movement, somatic practices, art-making, and reflective exercises, practices that clear the mind, awaken wonder, and rekindle your relationship with imagination. You'll find care, presence, and connection here, alongside others doing the same, gently, steadily, without needing to prove anything.
Together, we hold space for one another, learn from shared experience, and grow our capacity to show up fully, with clarity, curiosity, and presence.
More access to your own creativity. A clearer view of what you're dreaming into being, and the steps to bring it there. A community of others doing similar work. Blocks that loosen their grip faster, and visit less often.
This cohort is for you if:
You want support and accountability to bring an idea into being
You want to better understand your creativity and creative flow, and how to keep it moving clearly
You tend to lose focus before a project is finished, and want time, place, and people to help you stay with it
You love creativity itself, talking about it, understanding it, making things, and want community with like-minded people
You have more ideas than you know what to do with, and feel overwhelmed, even like you're drowning, when you step into that space
You're returning to a creative practice after time away and want a low-pressure way back in
You've kept your creative process mostly private and are ready to have it witnessed
You're drawn to creativity as a soul practice, something felt as much as produced
These are a few of the reasons people find their way here, and the list stays open and loose. The container is wide. Whatever challenge or edge you're wanting extra support around in your creativity, you may find this cohort has room for it.
This group is shaped by the turn of the seasons, harvest and release moving into stillness and quiet preparation. Just as the natural world lets its leaves go and pulls growth back down into the root, we turn inward too, sensing what's ripe to gather in and what's ready to be released so new growth has room. We practice discernment, honesty about what no longer serves, and the quiet courage of letting go, then carry that into winter's rest.
Each cohort follows a similar cycle, and each cohort, like each person in it, is different. Returning members find new layers in familiar ground. New members arrive right where they are. Both are welcome here, and both belong.
A rhythm that supports all kinds of schedules and all kinds of lives, a grounded, restorative touch-point accessible for those with day jobs, creative lives, care-giving responsibilities, or anyone who needs a steady moment of connection.
First gathering: Wednesday, October 14
We'll move between:
Facilitated Circle Sessions A guided space for somatic grounding, gentle prompts, creative inquiry, and spacious reflection in community.
Connection Weeks On alternating weeks, you'll connect with a Reflection Partner, a person paired with you for the cohort, for a brief check-in that keeps you connected to your process between circles.
Not much. Just:
A notebook
Any art materials you enjoy (nothing fancy needed)
An open curiosity
A willingness to slow down
One or more ideas you would like to bring into being
(You can join entirely with pen and paper.)
The capacity to discern what's ready to be released
A nourishing, sustainable relationship with creativity
A deepened connection to imagination as inner wisdom
A gentle rhythm of practice that supports your life
The power of community witness and shared presence
Space for your inner voice to come forward
Permission to harvest, to release, to listen, to begin again
I come to this as a facilitator and co-creator, walking alongside you. My work integrates somatics, creative process, expressive arts foundations, and contemplative practice, held together by a deep belief in imagination as a living force within and around us.
Expect a container for presence, spaciousness, and gentle structure, with plenty of room for your own rhythm and truth.
