Dreaming and Visioning - Module 3


Our fifth session theme is Dreaming & Visioning. Together we explore the archetype of The Muse. Imagining what values we want our creative endeavors to embody and what we desire to bring into the world.

Reflection Prompts

  • Does engaging in creative expression impact your energy or sense of self?

    • If so, how? If not, what do you notice instead?

  • How would you describe the force that animates you when you are creating? (This is sometimes referred to as the subtle body—the internal, energetic aspect of self.)

Home Practice - Dreaming with the Muses

Time: 5-10 minutes a day
When: Choose a simple, regular moment - while brushing your teeth, commuting, making coffee, or any daily rhythm that already exists.

The Practice:

Imagine you have a magic wand, infused with the energy, inspiration, creativity, and support of the three Boeotian Muses.

How would you change the world?

This may feel broad, but it can also be deliciously specific. If anything could happen, if change were limitless — how would you reshape things?

Start wherever feels alive:

  • How would I change my life? Would I move? Eat differently? Rearrange my days?

  • How would I transform my community? My relationships? The spaces I move through?

  • How would I reimagine the wider world?

It can be small or sweeping. The scale doesn't matter.

Important: If this ever feels heavy, like another task or obligation, just drop it. The whole point is to feed your creativity and the muses, not to burden you.

This isn't about figuring out how to make anything happen. It's an exercise in feeling the longing, staying in the yum — that place of delicious possibility before contraction sets in.

What is it to dream the world differently? How could life be more delicious, fabulous, amazing? Stay in that place. Let yourself imagine: What if life were even more delicious than it already is?

You don't need to do anything to make it real. Just let yourself dream.
